The Rube Goldberg Project

Throughout the past month, the seventh grade students have been learning about energy and energy conversions. To accompany this unit in science, and to show off their creativity, (while having fun!) students have worked in groups together to complete the Rube Goldberg Project. Students learned the value in communication in a group, and time management, as this was a time-consuming project. This project, inspired by the well-known Rube Goldberg Machines, was designed to be an educational take on energy conversions. The students were responsible for designing and building their very own Rube Goldberg machine. The students learned many things, and are officially done with the Rube Goldberg Project.

This story is written by 7th Grade student Corinne Johnson.
