Parents of Cody 100% Online Students: We are upon our winter testing window for the FAST reading screener.  We will host drop-in testing for our online students in their home schools. This will take place at Cody on Thursday, January 21st and Friday, January 22nd.  Please call our office (563) 332-0210 and schedule a time that works for your family.   Enter through the front doors of the school.  We look forward to seeing you.  


Lost and Found: If your student is missing any items (jacket, sweatshirt, hat, etc.) please have them check the lost and found located in the commons across from the main office.  


Outside Recess Reminder:  Cody students go outside for recess if the temperature is 0 degrees or above including the wind chill.  Additionally, if they’d like to go off the blacktop they must be wearing a jacket, snow pants, snow boots, hat and gloves. Thank-you for your cooperation!


Yearbook 2020-2021: We are in need of photos for our yearbook.  Please send photos of your students learning at home on their virtual days.  Email your photos to and add your student’s homeroom teacher.  Photos are needed for 100% online learners and hybrid students.  


Picture Retakes will be on February 2 and February 3 for those students who did not get their picture taken or would like to have it retaken. Online students may have their pictures retaken on Tuesday, February 2 from 7:30am-8:00am. Online students may enter the building through the front door and pictures will be taken in the commons.  If you are having your picture retaken, please send the original packet with your child to turn in to Lifetouch. If your student did not have their picture taken at all and you would like to purchase a packet, please send the envelope with the order on the day of retakes.


Constructing Detours Days for January will be on the 28th and 29th!  Time to wear your construction themed clothing to celebrate all of the creativity and shifts we’ve made during this challenging time.  


Kindergarten Registration: The Pleasant Valley Community School District is compiling a list of names of students who plan to enroll in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year. Click here for more information.


Meals Available for At-Home Learners: We will have meals available each week for 100% online and hybrid at-home days. You must fill out this form every week by Monday at 6:00am to register for the meals. Meals will be available for pick up every day from 10:30am-11:00am at PVHS in the bus drop off area.
