FROM THE PRINCIPAL

As the weather improves many of our students are walking, riding bikes, and scooters to and from school. Safety is paramount when attending and leaving school each day. When our students travel to and from school please remind them to cross Hopewell Ave. at the crosswalk with the crossing guards. Crossing Hopewell at any other point is dangerous as there is a good amount of traffic during arrival and dismissal. We encourage students to walk and bike to school and we want to help keep them safe. We will be reminding students to use the crosswalk and appreciate you taking the time to remind them about safe practices as well. Finally, thank you to everyone who has been wearing a helmet when scootering and biking to school.

Sincerely,

Mr. Welch
Principal Hopewell Elementary
