PV-Issued Devices:

·         Students who are attending school in person and have checked out a device (iPad/Chromebook) from the district are asked to return the device and charger to the classroom teacher by May 11. These devices will be collected, checked back in, and redistributed to the classrooms for use the rest of the school year.

·         Online Students that have checked out a device (iPad/Chromebook) from the district are asked to return the device and charger to the administration center (525 Belmont Rd) either on June 7 from 7:00am - 12:00 pm or June 8 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.


Meals Available for At-Home Learners: Meals will be available every Monday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am for 100% online learners.  You’ll pick up all your meals for the entire week.  You must fill out this form every week by Monday at 6:00am to register for the meals.  Meals are currently free because of a government program.


Bus Drivers Needed!  The search for the right drivers is paramount to our success because the best drivers = the safest kids. Durham School Services is hiring!  If you’re interested in learning more, click here.



National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7: Students are asked to bring one flower to school on Monday, May 3 to be placed in a vase in the classroom to make a beautiful bouquet for their teacher. PTA will be appreciating all teachers and staff throughout the week, and if you have a special relationship with other teachers or staff at Hopewell, we encourage you to celebrate and appreciate them as well! Think about music, art, PE, reading, counselor, front office, special education, library, aides, etc. You can find each teacher's favorite things HERE.


Book Fair: Don't miss the last book fair of the year - it's going to be a good one!  Hopewell's BOGO Book Fair will be held Wednesday, May 12th from 3:30 - 6:30 on the playground behind the school.  Come stock up for summer reading with buy one book, get a second book for free.  We encourage all to wear masks and prefer credit card payment for a contactless transaction.  Thanks for your support!


Forest Grove Apparel:  If you’re making the move to Forest Grove next year, you’re going to want to check out this webstore.  It is open through Sunday, May 9th.  The web store will feature a wide variety of options, in both youth and adult sizes.  The PTA will receive 20% of all sales over $500, which will greatly benefit our new school!

Bettendorf Parks and Recreation: QC Basketball Complete Essential Skills Trainings Improve your basketball skills and confidence at this seven-week youth basketball program at the Life Fitness Center. Coach Joseph Hill and Coach Zac Myers from the Quad City United and Quad City Basketball Academy offer a high-energy environment for you to hone in on your strengths, work on your weaknesses, and learn how to play competitively in a team setting. Saturdays May 8, 15, 22, 29, and June 12, 19, and 26. Each Saturday is $30. Registration deadline for each week is the Thursday prior. All programs are held at the Life Fitness Center from 5-7pm. Skill Level Preferred – Intermediate, Ages - 8-12 years old – Coed. Click here to register today!


Bettendorf Parks and Recreation: Summer Playgrounds Program Let us help your child have a summer packed with fun! Encourage them to attend their neighborhood Playgrounds program! Seven locations are staffed to provide your child with a variety of supervised activities including athletics, games, special visitors, arts and crafts, field trips, and MUCH more! This program is for children ages 5-12 (must have completed Kindergarten). Program Runs June 7-August 6 and meets EVERY Monday-Friday from 12:30pm-4:00pm.
