Hopewell #SpartanNation October 22

Hopewell #SpartanNation Weekly Announcements

With Halloween parties on the horizon, it would be good to review treat protocols.  All snack items will need to be from the Pleasant Valley Spartan Snack List.  All foods entering the classroom will first be approved through the office. Mr. Runkle or Mrs. Quam will check the item. If it is approved, a signed and dated copy of the safe snack list with the item circled will be attached to the snack.

Hopewell families please note the following events changes that have been implemented for this fall and early winter.  The family movie night scheduled for November 12 will be postponed, Donuts With Grownups scheduled for November 19 will be postponed until Spring (we are considering having a combined Donuts and Muffins event in the spring), and at this time the Variety Show scheduled for January 28 is still on.  A final decision on the Variety Show will be made prior to the beginning of rehearsals.

Seasonal change is upon us.  It would be good practice to begin sending children to school with a coat, hat, and gloves/mittens either on or in their backpack.  Our policy is to have the kids outside at recess unless there is inclement weather or the temperature falls below zero degrees with windchill factored in.

Keep up the good work!

Tony Runkle
