Hopewell #SpartanNation

Cold Weather Reminder:  If school is cancelled, delayed or released early due to inclement weather, you will receive a phone call, text and email from Pleasant Valley Schools through the School Messenger system.   Elementary students will have outdoor recess when the temperature is 0-degrees or above.   If the temperature (wind-chill included) is less than 0 degrees, our students stay inside for recess.  When they do go outside, please make sure that your student(s) are dressed appropriately (coats, gloves or mittens, hats, and boots if necessary).  Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated!

Birthday Treats:   Food items entering the classroom must be chosen from the Spartan Safe Snack List and contain only one serving per student.

Valentine’s Day Parties: A treat from the Spartan Safe Snack List and a fun activity will be provided at the class party. To keep the party safe for all students, we ask that you do not attach any food items to valentine cards, nor can a food item be sent home in a backpack for the student to enjoy later at home. You are welcome to attach items such as pencils or stickers to the valentines.

The first half hour will be an open house for you to view students' artwork and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m in the auditorium.
