Parent Portal Unavailable: Starting on Tuesday, January 10 at 8am, grades will be unavailable on the Campus Parent Portal as teachers finalize the semester grades for their students. For those using the Campus Parent Mobile App on their phone or tablet, push notifications will also be turned off at this time. Both features will be turned back on when grading is complete on Friday, January 20 at 8:00 am.

Don't forget to order your student a yearbook! The 2022-2023 yearbook will be our biggest to date, but must be pre-ordered! To reserve your copy of the current year's book (to be distributed in August), please send a check for $75 made out to PVHS to the main office with "yearbook" in the memo. With a change to the registration process, you may not have purchased your book during registration! If you aren't sure if you have pre-ordered, you can check by logging onto the parent portal, clicking on "fees" and looking for a $75 fee from earlier in the year. You can also call the high school at 563.332.5151 for verification.
Senior Photos for the yearbook are due FRIDAY, MARCH 31, 2023 and must be submitted ONLINE to our yearbook site. Simply go to tinyurl.com/pvphotoupload and enter access code spartans. Then, just follow the instructions for uploading your photo and note the acceptable file types. You will receive a confirmation email of the photo's delivery. (The photo must feature only the PVHS senior and will be cropped to include only the student's head, shoulders and chest area so please consider this when choosing your photo. To ensure clear printing, high resolution photos are best!)
The always popular senior yearbook ads are still available and make the perfect lifelong gift for your child! Choose childhood and/or additional senior photos, along with a special message to surprise your student, who will surely treasure the ad for years to come. The order form for these ads can be found here. Space is limited and available on a first reserved basis. PTA Reflections Open House & Awards Ceremony: You and your family are invited to the Pleasant Valley Schools PTA Reflections Open House & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, January 19, 2023 beginning at 6:30pm in the Pleasant Valley High School Cafeteria. The first half-hour will be an open house for you to view students' artwork and the awards ceremony will begin at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Student participants will be photographed for submission to the local paper.
Wall of Honor: The Wall of Honor Program was established in 1999 to recognize distinguished alumni who have graduated from Pleasant Valley High School. Nominees must have graduated 10 years or more prior to induction and must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Success
- Outstanding success in their career
- Distinguished human service

Thomson Prison Career Fair, January 7: Seniors interested in law enforcement careers may want to attend. Must be 18 yrs old by the time of start date.
Alternatives to Sports Day @ TBK, January 18: Space is limited to 10 students, 11th & 12th grade students will be given precedence if there are more than 10 registering. Sign up here.

ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES
PV Trap Team: Spring registration is now open and is due by January 11, 2023. Registration materials have been sent to interested athletes. You should have received an email either from Team Snap or directly from pvtrapteam@gmail.com. If you are interested and have not received registration materials, please send an email to pvtrapteam@gmail.com.
**Save the date**: All athletes can drop off registration forms/payment at the PV Trap Registration Night in the PVHS Library on January 11 between 6-7pm. New athlete meeting to follow from 7-8pm.
