Bridgeview knocked it out of the park for Read Across America Week! Every day, mystery readers interacted with students, including firefighters, police officers, and community members. Throughout this school year, Bridgeview staff is emphasizing the importance of reading with our faculty and students. Efforts promote a school-wide culture of reading that helps students and staff find & share the joy, discovery, imagination, and information that reading has to offer.
Students in Mrs. Peterson's 3rd Grade class practiced their reading skills through reader's theaters to celebrate, as well. Students performed portions of Dr. Seuss's famous books. They focused on fluency through rhymes and tongue twisters. Great performances and good work from our students! Check out pictures from the day here!
