The 7th Grade Pleasant Valley Boys Cross Country Team has earned the title of State Champions!
Held in Ankeny on October 14th, the following runners secured victory with a team score of 49 points in the 2-mile race:

- Ibraheem Baig
- Pranav Bhardwaj
- Andrew Broughton
- Connor Feehan
- Dillon Hofstadter
- Augie Prior
Coach Sarah Kraklio said, "Our 7th-grade boys team finished off a very strong cross-country season with a state championship. The runners capitalized on their pack mentality, with all of the scoring runners finishing within 20 seconds of each other and all placing in the top 20. Each runner ran a great race, and we are proud of their accomplishments!"
