Spartan Cross Country is in its Championship Era! The Pleasant Valley Junior High teams capped off their undefeated regular seasons with three state championships at the Junior High State Meet on Saturday, October 19th — 7th Grade Girls, 7th Grade Boys, and 8th Grade Boys! The 8th Grade Girls also turned in an impressive performance, finishing 3rd as a team.
Several PVJH athletes earned top ten finishes, including:
- Gianna McCombs – 8th Grade Girls State Champion
- Kaden Moylan – 7th Grade Boys Runner-Up
- Evie Swanson – 7th Grade Girls Runner-Up
- Ross Borth – 7th Grade Boys, 3rd
- Kennedy Burke – 7th Grade Girls, 3rd
- Kohen Moylan – 7th Grade Boys, 4th
- Zeke Swanson – 8th Grade Boys, 5th
- Ruby Larsen – 7th Grade Girls, 6th
- Yuvi Singh – 8th Grade Boys, 6th
- Alex Kresowik – 8th Grade Boys, 8th
And the success doesn’t stop there — our High School Girls and Boys Cross Country teams swept the MAC Conference Championships, taking titles in 9/10th, JV, and Varsity! For the Boys, it marks their 15th consecutive MAC Championship.
