100% Online Learning at PVHS

Because of the return to 100% onsite learning, PVHS is adjusting its plan for 100% online students. Students will be required to attend every scheduled class LIVE throughout the day. Teachers will reach out to students through Google Classroom with instructions on how to join each class LIVE.

We highly recommend parents/guardians:

  • Review these times with students and help them create a planner/weekly calendar to stay organized and show up to all of their required sessions. LINK TO DAILY SCHEDULES
  • Support the importance of working not only during the live times but checking in on every class, every day. One of the biggest issues we found 1st semester was students not keeping up and following the requirements when at home.
  • Communicate with the school when there are issues, concerns, and questions.
  • If your child will be absent from any of the required online class meeting times, you need to contact the attendance office with the reason. The school will determine whether the absence is excused or unexcused. While students may not be physically present in the building, they will be required to attend classes virtually.
