One of the reasons Pleasant Valley High School is a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School is student involvement. PVHS Principal Darren Erickson held a town hall meeting so students could help brainstorm ideas about increasing respect at the school - between students and staff, as well as students and students. The 2021 Conditions for Learning Survey showed about a third of student respondents thought PVHS students and staff could do more to respect each other. With staff and students putting their heads together, certainly, PVHS can become even better!
