Donate to the Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation Thank-A-Senior Campaign!

Donate to the Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation Thank-A-Senior Campaign!

The Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation provides scholarships for more than 110 seniors every year.  We are grateful for the thousands of families who have supported our mission since our founding in 1992.

Of the $120,000 in scholarship checks that the PVEF writes each year to over 100 graduates, $50,000 is provided by the Foundation’s annual fundraising.  Due to the COVID-19 cancellation of the Run with Carl and annual golf outing, the Foundation’s ability to award the full complement of scholarships to the class of 2021 requires that $50,000 be raised by December 31, 2020.

We are tremendously grateful to announce that Dr. Eric Dippel (PVHS class of 1985) and family have pledged to match every donation up to a total of $25,000 as a gift from his family.  “I believe strongly in the value of education and am grateful for the strong foundation Pleasant Valley provided me and my children”, Dr. Dippel said.  “Pleasant Valley has meant more than just an education to our family.  It has provided a framework for achieving goals.  It has instilled a sense of challenging yourself to be your best.  It has provided a community of friends that have touched each of us.”

We are asking that you support our “Thank-a-Senior” campaign by completing the donor card included in the enclosed brochure and send your donation to the PVEF or you may donate online via PayPal at http://bit.ly/pvthankasenior.

With your help, 110 PVHS seniors will be encouraged to continue their post-secondary education at a university, college or vocational school of their choosing.

Thank you for your consideration and for your continued support of our students.

Sincerely,

Brian Strusz, Superintendent                                             Dave Borcherding, President
