8th Grade student Kira Pielak has won the Golden Key Award in this year's Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Her submission earned the top award in her category for the region, which includes Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Now, the entry will move on to be judged nationally.
