Pleasant View
Pleasant View's Annual Giving Project
This year, Pleasant View will be partnering with Humility Homes whose mission is to end homelessness by offering housing opportunities and supportive services in the greater Quad Cities area. We are very excited to get started!
Here is how things will work this year. Humility Homes has given us a list of items that are instrumental in assisting those that they help; men, women, and children with unstable housing issues. We have divided those items over the grade levels below.
K and 1st-sponges and dish soap
2nd- toothpaste and deodorant
3rd-toilet paper and/or bars of soap
4th-household wipes and spray cleaners
5th-Body wash and/or shampoo
6th-liquid laundry detergent
There is also a need for hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. Any grade level can feel free to bring in those items.
Our collection will begin December 1st and run through December 17th. You may drop off items in the front office, or with your child’s teacher anytime in that window. If you plan to be doing some shopping over Thanksgiving break, please keep these items in mind.
We are so excited to make a huge difference for the Quad Cities! Thank you in advance for your support!
