They may look like they're playing with toys, but these 3rd graders at Riverdale Heights are using engineering to solve problems. In teams, students designed, built and tested a system to unload boxes of food at a community food pantry. The system had to move the boxes a minimum of 12 feet to scale. Working with VEX IQ equipment, students tested their problem solving and creativity.
